Manufacturas Emabi, nace a principios de los 80, adoptando su actual denominación de Manufacturas Emabi S.A. en diciembre de 1.989.
Inicialmente su actividad, quedó centrada en la fabricación de bobinas de hilo de cobre, cuyo destino era la industria electrónica. También durante la década de los años 80, Emabi, amplía su oferta de producto, al iniciar la fabricación de piezas por mecanización para la industria en general.
Es a partir de su constitución en Sociedad Anónima, cuando comienza su verdadera expansión, que se materializa, mediante una constante y sostenida inversión en ambas líneas de producto. Debido a ese constante crecimiento, Emabi, se ve obligada en 1.999 a una ampliación de sus instalaciones, que le lleva a la construcción de su actual pabellón, en un solar de 4.905 m2, sito en el Polígono Industrial de Goiain
El compromiso de todos los componentes de la Organización, en materia de Calidad, hace que Emabi sea certificada por AENOR en el año 2000, según norma UNE EN ISO 9002, y proceda a la inmediata adaptación y también certificación por AENOR según norma UNE EN ISO 9001 : 2000.
